and then there are the ones you quietly hold onto because they feel just a little too big.
Becoming a certified mentor to help new to the industry agents?
Yeah… that lived in the second category for me.
Not because I didn’t want it.
But because I wasn’t sure I had earned it yet.
And if I’m being honest?
I think a lot of newer agents feel that way.
Like there’s some invisible timeline you’re supposed to follow.
Like you need more deals, more years, more validation before you’re “allowed” to step into leadership.
But here’s what I’ve learned:
👉 Experience isn’t just measured in time.
👉 It’s measured in intention.
👉 In care.
👉 In how deeply you show up for people.
And that’s exactly why this matters so much to me.
From Figuring It Out Alone… to Helping Others Do It Better
When I first got into real estate, I thought mentorship would be the foundation of everything.
Clear guidance.
Real support.
Someone to walk me through the hard conversations and the “what do I even do here?” moments.
But that wasn’t my experience.
So I did what a lot of us do…
I figured it out as I went.
I made mistakes.
I learned things the hard way.
I invested time, money, and energy trying to piece together what should have been taught from the beginning.
And while that journey shaped me…
it also lit something in me:

👉 It needs better prepared ones.

That’s the standard I’ve built my business on.
